By examining the temptation of ex-prisoners to seek revenge on their torturers, the director delivers a morality tale and a frontal attack on the Islamic Republic. Scheduled for release on September 10th, this dissident filmmaker spent fifteen years in Iran, where he was imprisoned twice and banned from filming.
